A Must-Try Spot in Floral Park – Amazing Food & Cozy Vibes! We had such a great dinner at Harrison in Floral Park! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic—both the food and vibes were on point. The cozy atmosphere made for the perfect dining experience, and the service was excellent—my water glass never even reached the bottom! We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was creamy and flavorful—the perfect way to kick off the meal. The chips with the dip were definitely homemade, adding that extra fresh and crunchy touch. The bread was also absolutely delicious—warm, fresh, and the perfect complement to our appetizers. For entrees, the eggplant parm (not fried!) was a refreshing and delicious take on a classic dish. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and cooked to perfection. I had the Braised Short Rib with mushroom risotto, and it was absolutely incredible—the short ribs were tender, and the risotto was extra creamy and packed with flavor. Overall, an amazing dining experience! If you're looking for a spot with delicious food, great service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Harrison is the place to go. Can't wait to come back!
I’m always down for a new spot to eat, chill, couple cocktails and simply have a great time. I found this place on Google and boy wished I visited the spot much sooner. Everything from minute I walk in was spot on. The menu is delightful, the drinks are absolutely chilled and served to perfection but most of all my server Mohammed displayed true professionalism and courtesy. He really made my entire dinner extremely pleasant. I also noticed they have an outdoor dining/bar which I will no doubt explore next time. Overall I could not be more impressed with The Harrison. Two thumbs up and keep up the great job.
Excellent food service and atmosphere we had family style meatballs, Brussels sprouts, crispy calamari. For dinner green salad, short rib pappardelle. Highly recommend
Spot was good was in the area for a comedy show and we decided to go early to have food and drinks here. Definitely wasn’t disappointed. Some of the high lights for me was the steak and the pigs in a blanket. I had the spicy rigatoni and the sauce was on point. The pasta was a bit hard for me but it was good was able to add steak to it and it definitely didn’t disappoint the eggplant appetizer was also good. Definitely recommend this place if your in the area
Came here while on our Honeymoon and sat at the bar. Greg was our bartender and was so attentive and kind. We wanted for nothing from being checked on regularly we never had to wait for another round of drinks or refills of water. They have by far the BEST Espresso Martini I have ever had and really wish they were closer to our home because I would only get them here from now on if I could! The food is on the same level we highly recommend the roasted chicken and the French dip. The portions are larger than expected but in the best way!
I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying both takeout and dine-in experiences at The Harrison recently, and I can honestly say both were excellent. A few weeks ago, I placed a takeout order and was impressed right off the bat—not just by the food, but by the staff. There were three teenage employees handling the order, and they delivered customer service better than most adults I’ve encountered. They were polite, informative, and even recommended the spicy linguini, which turned out to be a great option , even though I came there for the deep scallop. Fast forward to yesterday, I had the chance to dine in, and it confirmed everything I already thought about the place. It’s not hard to get a reservation, which is surprising considering how good it is. The interior is a nice balance between upscale and relaxed, so you can go in dressed up or casual and feel comfortable either way. There’s also bar seating for a more laid-back experience. We were seated quickly and started with a basket of fresh bread. It was warm, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. We ordered from the prix fixe menu but also tried a couple of appetizers from the regular menu: the oysters and the mac and cheese. The oysters were fresh and well-prepared, and the mac and cheese was large enough to share. It was very cheesy, but It wasn’t a deal breaker. One of the highlights was the Brussels sprouts, which had a bold, flavorful profile. They did come with a sauce on top that wasn’t quite to my taste, but thankfully it wasn’t overpowering, so it was easy to enjoy the dish once you got past it. For mains, the eggplant parm was well generously portioned and smothered in sauce, just the way it should be. The spicy rigatoni was also good, though a bit heavier on the sauce than the pasta itself. That said, by the time we got to that dish, we were already pretty full. We ended up taking the desert to go. Overall, the pricing is more than justified by the quality of food, service, and overall experience. This is also a resy restaurant , so if you use the AMEX Delta Platinum or Reserve, you should receive your monthly credit from here.
Quaint landmark eatery great for brunch, dinner or even take out (allow time for take out as everything appears to be done fresh). Have frequented a few times and each time I think I’m gonna stick to my old favorite the server runs down the special of the day that is too tempting to resist, and they always nail it. Reservations are a must but even when there’s a mishap like I selected the wrong date, they were very accommodating and were able to seat us fairly quickly which was very nice. My hubby loves braised short rib which melts in your mouth with wild mushroom risotto and my personal favorite is the Scottish Salmon with Shrimp & whipped potatoes and asparagus. Deelish!! If there’s no room after all this goodness, you can’t leave without a take out order of their famous Harrison Burger! It’s a double stack on a brioche bun that won’t disappoint. For vegans/vegetarians they didn’t forget about you. They’ve got honey, sesame Szechuan Brussel sprouts (amazing), sesame soy honey glazed Cauliflower, Zucchini/Eggplant Chips and more. Note - all this goodness doesn’t come cheap sooooo bring the benjamins *** Shout to server extraordinaire AMANDA. She is the bomb.com with a Broadway show waiting for her somewhere. She rocks! My work here is done. Cheers to our next adventure P.S. don’t sleep on the L-Train winter cocktail if you fancy lavender. Yummy!
First time and won’t be the last. Perfect for a date night, special occasion or when you just want a really pretty place to grab a bite with friends :) The rolls are amazing, like wow. We got pigs in a blanket as an app, they were really yummy but prob wouldn’t order again. The smash burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Fries were also so good and fresh. And the espresso martini was perfect. Service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu including dessert! Portions are generous and we couldn’t make room for dessert but the dessert menu looks amazing
